The clocks have gone forward, it’s lighter in the evenings, it’s the start of the Easter holidays and you don’t have to get up in the morning… what better way to celebrate than going for a short 3 mile canal walk and then visit 2 quality pubs? (Hyde’s Cheshire Ring and Sportsman Inn). |

Return to Woodley (if wishing to get earlier train back) or a GM Rail Ranger (if staying for second pub). Tickets are half price if purchasing after 18.30. |

Description: |
Come and try the monthly wine tasting at Room Restaurant. The evening entails canapés followed by two starters, two mains and a dessert, with the wines being matched carefully by the evening host. There are usually six wines to taste. The full menu is yet to be confirmed, but the theme is ‘Discover Lebanon.’ Vegetarian dishes are available. More details to follow. You don’t need to be a wine expert, just come along and enjoy! |

With its extensive menu, and impressive pudding selection, this is a veggie feast not to be missed. Even committed carnivorous are mildly impressed by the culinary antics of the Greenhouse, producing veggie and vegan delights since 1983. Rave reviews include: "Not that bad, really" - Nick "I'd sell my sister for another slice of cheesecake" - Me It's a cosy restaurant, and we can snuggle in about 12-14 of us max, so please let me know if you want to come along. We'll meet at 7:30 (TBC). The restaurant is fully licensed, with a good range of beers including a hemp beer! Expect to pay about £16 for a three-course meal, plus drinks/tips.
